This agreement governs enrollment in Pretty Paws Grooming Academy. The student acknowledges that this document, along with any listed attachments, constitutes the entire agreement with the program; verbal agreements or other representations are not binding. Pretty Paws Grooming Academy has 2 courses, each of which the Student may complete at their own pace. Pretty Paws will allow a maximum of 60 days for completion of the Groomer Assistant Program and 6 months for the Pet Stylist Program. Students are responsible for providing their own grooming tools and specified textbooks, which are available on the Pretty Paws Academy website https://prettypawsacademy.com. Purchasing tools and textbooks from Pretty Paws Grooming Academy is optional and may be purchased on their own, but the specified textbooks must be used. Upon successful completion of each course, the student will receive a certificate of completion.
NOTE: All refunds and extentions are subject to approval. All requests for refunds and extensions will be reviewed and responded to in 24-48.
Withdrawals From Courses: A student may voluntarily withdraw from any course BEFORE starting that course. Refund requests MUST be submitted in writing and are subject to the following conditions:
1.Refunds for individually purchased courses are only provided if the student has NOT started the course for which they are requesting a refund.
2.Approved refunds will be processed in full, minus a 10% administration fee.
3.If a Course Bundle is purchased and any single active course expires, all subsequent courses become non-refundable.
4.Refunds for Course Bundles, IF approved, will be issued at the discounted rate of the levels, minus a 10% administration fee.
5.Approved refunds will be processed within 30 calendar days from the termination of the Student’s enrollment.
6.Refunds for tools, books, or other equipment purchased from Pretty Paws are not available; all sales for books and equipment are final.
Program Extensions: Students are expected to complete the Groomer Assistant Course in 60 days and the Pet Stylist Course in 6 months. After this period, the course will expire, and the student will lose access to the course content. To continue after expiration, the student must pay for an extension. Access to the course will remain unavailable until payment is completed and the extension is established. Extension fees are as follows:
•If the Student’s progress is greater than 50%: The Student must pay 50% of the tuition cost of the course, granting an additional 60 days to complete the current course.
•If the Student’s progress is less than 50%: The Student must pay 100% of the tuition cost of the single course, granting an additional 60 days to complete the Groomer Assistant Course and 6 months to complete the Pet Stylist Course.
Groomer Assistant Enrollment Agreement: The student can complete the Groomers Assistant Course at their own pace, up to 60 days. Due to the program’s short duration, no refunds or extensions are offered. If the program expires, the Student may re-purchase it to resume their education.
The Program Handbook outlines complete rules of conduct and satisfactory progress. Students can begin online courses once they acknowledge and agree to the conduct policies therein.
Termination: If, after investigation, a Student is found to have falsified or submitted any graded materials dishonestly, they may face disciplinary action up to and including termination from the program. Cheating is a serious offense in Pretty Paws Grooming Academy and will be addressed accordingly.
Important Acknowledgment: The acknowledgment that the completion of Pretty Paws Grooming Academy Courses is not a license or certificate granted by any State or Federal government. Pretty Paws courses are not accredited by any State or Federal government, organization, or institution. Enrollment or completion of any Pretty Paws course does not guarantee employment, nor does Pretty Paws assume responsibility for employment placement assistance.
The first lesson of each course will require the student’s acknowledgment of the above and agreement to the complete rules of conduct and satisfactory progress found in the Pretty Paws Grooming Academy Handbook.
