Connie Bailey
With over 30 years of experience in the dog grooming industry, Connie Bailey’s passion for pets and education has been the driving force behind her success. From an early age, she knew she wanted to work with animals, which led her to own and operate several successful grooming salons. As her expertise grew, she transitioned into the corporate grooming world, taking on leadership roles at PetSmart as an Academy Trainer, Regional Salon Trainer, and Quality and Education Leader. During her time there, she played a pivotal role in developing and writing the training curriculum still used today, helping to shape the careers of countless groomers.
After decades in the industry, Connie saw a growing need for high-quality groomers and decided to take action. She left the corporate world to join Alliance Pet Group as the VP of Sales and Marketing, but her passion for grooming education never wavered. Recognizing the lack of skilled groomers in the marketplace, she co-founded Pretty Paws Grooming Academy to bridge this gap. Her mission is to empower individuals with the skills needed to build successful careers in grooming while also supporting salon owners in training top-tier professionals. Through Pretty Paws, she is dedicated to elevating the grooming industry, ensuring pets receive the best care while helping students and business owners thrive.
