Pretty Paws Grooming Academy Community Guidelines

Welcome to Pretty Paws Grooming Academy’s online learning community! Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive space where students of all levels experience and knowledge can learn, share, and grow together in the dog grooming industry.  To maintain a respectful and encouraging environment, we ask all members to follow these guidelines when participating in discussions, forums, and interactions on our platform.

1.     Respect and Inclusivity

·      Treat all members with kindness, patience, and professionalism.

·      Respect different perspectives.  Remember that every groomer has unique techniques and experiences.

·      Encourage constructive discussions, not criticism. If providing feedback, be helpful and supportive.

·      Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or offensive language will NOT be tolerated.

2.     Zero Tolerance for Bullying & Trolling

·      Bullying, trolling, or personal attacks against any student, instructor, or community member will result in immediate action, including potential removal from the platform.

·      If you feel harassed or uncomfortable, report the behavior to our admin team immediately by emailing us at he**@***************my.com.

3.     Maintain a Positive Learning Environment

·      Ask questions freely—this is a place to learn! There are no “dumb questions.”

·      Share knowledge and experiences to help others grow in their grooming journey.

·      Encourage fellow students—celebrate progress and achievements.

4.     Keep Discussions Grooming-Related

·      Stay on topic! This community is for learning, sharing techniques, and discussing industry-related topics.

·      Off-topic discussions should be respectful and appropriate for a professional learning space.

5.     No Self-Promotion or Spam

·      Do not use the community for self-promotion, advertising, or selling products/services.

·      Sharing educational resources is encouraged, but excessive promotion will not be allowed.

6.     Professional Conduct in Content Sharing

·      When sharing images or videos of your grooming work, ensure they are appropriate, respectful, and educational.

·      Do not share graphic, unsafe, or harmful content related to animals or idividuals.

·      If posting before/after grooming photos, ensure the pet’s safety and comfort are visible in your work.

7.     Protect Privacy and Confidentiality

·      Do not share personal information (yours or anyone else’s).

·      Respect the privacy of clients and pets—do not share private customer details.

8.     Follow Platform & Academy Policies

·      All students must adhere to Pretty Paws Grooming Academy’s Terms & Conditions.

·      Instructors and admins reserve the right to remove posts or restrict access if guidelines are violated.

Violation of Guidelines & Consequences

Violating these guidelines can lead to:

·      A warning from moderators.

·      Temporary suspension from discussions.

·      Permanent removal from the Pretty Paws Grooming Academy social platforms in severe cases.

Reporting Issues

We are here to ensure this community remains safe and positive for all members.  If you experience or witness behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it to the Pretty Paws Admin Team.  he**@***************my.com
